Newbie Needing help with images..

hey, i just got the dreamweaver mx 2004 version, and im a bit confused with it from the last version i had..

my question is:

how does one place an image on top of another image.... I know in the older version u could use the image box and place it where u wanted to on the screen... but where is that in this version if it has one at all?!.. some one please help!

Do you mean the Image Placeholder? In this version, the image icon in the
Insert menu is actually a menu that drops down giving you other image
options, one of which is the Image Placeholder.

well kinda, but ive notices that with image placeholders that CANT/WONT go over pictures... and thats what im afta....
to be able to have text over pictures

Do you mean putting images in Dreamweaver layers and then positioning the
layers?

...to have text over pictures...
