Default Newbie - help uploading - 07-23-2004 , 04:17 PM

I created some pages that have already been uploaded to a pre-existing site. I
now need to upload these pages to a brand new site location. What do I need to
do? (Sorry for being so unformed, am a former FP user.)

In your site definition change the Remote Info to reflect the new site
location.

Or create a second site definition that is a duplicate of the original one
with the new Remote connection info....

Hello, I just logged on and saw this today.. my experience has been to not use
Dreamweavers FTP or site definition setup. Many people have told me it is
buggy. I would recommend downloading a seperate FTP program to ensure nothing
gets messed up in translation...

I have never, ever had a problem with DW's FTP. YMMV.

Your experience differs from the vast majority.
