Default Newbie Help Needed - 08-02-2004 , 08:13 AM

No laughing please! A little background. I am taking a class towards my
Masters degree, and as part of the class, we must develop a 4 to 5 page
"website". Because Dreamweaver MX 2004 allows a 30 day trial period, that is
the software that the professor said we should use. Anyways...I am basically
designing this site using the menu commands, as I have no idea how to type
code. I have been able to insert pictures, make links from page to page, etc.
Here is my problem, and I can't figure it out.

I am easily able to insert a row of icons on the left hand side of the page.
However, when I try to insert images on the right hand side, it messes up what
I have done on the left hand side. How do I insert jpeg files on the right, or
center, of the page without messing up what is on the left side? Sorry for
such a simple question, but I was pulling my hair out last night trying to
figure it out.

Matt

Matt,

Take a quick look at this tutorial... not heavy going at all... will help
you set up a "flexible' page design.

Adopt the method and you'll have your site done in no time "-)

Hi,
doesn't need to be difficult. On a blank page, Insert table with say
5rows and 5columns. Set width to 100% to cover whole page. (Modify page
properties and set margins to zero to have no border at all around the
outside of the page. Then click in a cell, inset image. That should give
you the idea, then as said help will tell you more or drop me an e-mail
and I'll try to help.
regards and good luck,
Chris.
