Stop toolbars from disappearing

Hi all,

I am using CS3 under Mac OS 10.5.1. This was annoying to me in DW8 under
WinXP. I recently switched from Windows to a Mac Pro. At the same time, I
upgraded to Wed Designer CS3 Standard. I have my desktop set up to use 9
Spaces desktops. I keep DW in its own space. Because of this, I don't want
the toolbars to disappear when I switch to another program. If I don't have a
document open at the time, I have to go down to the Dock to bring the
backgrounded DW process back up so I can access the menus.

I've looked but I can't find a preference to stop the auto-hiading.

Any help will be appreciated.

This is more of a Apple OS X issue than a DW specific issue.

I do have a Mac, but I have never needed or heard of doing this. I would
suspect that you would need to edit some of the system files for this program.

I would suggest heading over to Apple's forums and post to see if you can do
this with programs because as far as I know, some windows disappear while
others stay in view depending on the program but I am sure there is a way to
change it if you really wanted to.
