it's easy enough to do though---
generate the thumbnail page so it's got 1 photo per row.
then after the album is generated, rough steps:
rename the thumbnail page's filename so it isn't the index page of the
folder. Let dw update links.
then open the thumbnail page-
Either manually set a target for all the thumb links to "myframe" or
whatever frame name you choose. or do a find and replace.
Find current doc specific tag--> a
action: set attribute-->target = myframe
Then do a find and replace on that folder (or do it manually page by page)
to remove the "return to index" link from the fullsize pages, because it
isn't needed anymore.
then make your frameset file, stick the thumbs page in one side, and photo1
or a blank page in the other side; and save it with the default filename.
Other choices- there's plenty of freeware/shareware/commercial thumbnailers
or photo album generators. Most of them have many many more options than
what's in dreamweaver. try a couple out Search on tucows or zdnet
downloads or versiontracker.

I need help setting up a web photo album. I used the command in dream weaver
and set one up but it is not exactly what I want. What I want to do is have a
two frame page. In the right frame I want the thumbnails as links to their
respective larger pictures, and in the main frame (or left side) I would like
the full sized picture to be displayed. The photo album command does not do
this, it will link the thumbnails to a separte page, one that can not be
customized (background color, picture alignment..etc). Please help....
