Default Need help started getting this error - 07-10-2004 , 11:02 AM

Out of the blue one day I started to received this error. All my web sites
that are currently set-up work fine and I can FTP to them but if I go to sites
EDIT or Sites ADD I receive this error:

"This action can not be completed because the other program busy. Choose
'Switch To' to activate the busy program and correct the problem"

But I can not get it to do anyting. Any help would greatly be appreciated. I
also removed my version of Dreamweaver MX and installed a trial version of MX
2004 and I get the same error message.

Are you using ZoneAlarm as a firewall? Do you need a firewall at all?

Have a basic NAT firewall built into my router and I also use Nortan Firewall.
I have disabled them both and I still get the same message. Also, I can FTP to
any web sites that are already set-up. I just can not use Site EDIT or Site
NEW.

This has got to be a firewall problem. Using a router, you don't really
need a firewall, and you certainly don't need redundant ones. I think
Norton is probably the cause of this. Any chance you could uninstall it?

Thanx that did the trick. I have a call into Symantec to see if they can fix the issue.
