need help aligning

Hey guys, working on a webpage and i have the top banner/left hand nav bar..
the top banner needs to rest against the nav bar.. i've tried everything i know
and i still end up with a nice little gap.. i currently have it framed for the
top/left. Anyways, any assistance would be greatly apperciated, here's a shot
of the template it's hopefully going to look like this once i get it fixed.
