How do I set up the frames page in light of my templates? |
|
How do I jump between frames pages and no frames pages? |
|
Hi, I have a client who insist that selected pages on his site have frames. In this case, iframes is not an option. I have developed the site based on templates. How do I set up the frames page in light of my templates? How do I jump between frames pages and no frames pages? Thanks. Vanessa |

Your client needs an education. Here is some ammunition - http://apptools.com/rants/framesevil.php How do I set up the frames page in light of my templates? You cannot. The frameset and its constituent frame pages will have to be made independently of your site's template. You can, however, make new templates to cover the pages that will be displayed within the frameset. How do I jump between frames pages and no frames pages? From the no-frame pages, just link to the frameset page. From the frameset page, link to the no-frame page with a target of "_top". |

Thanks Murray. It's hard changing a client who is set in his ways. Sincerely, Vanessa Murray *TMM* wrote: Your client needs an education.
