Default need to change default site server directory - 02-15-2005 , 08:47 AM

I would like to change the default ColdFusion directory that DreamWeaver
chooses to create new sites in. I need to do this because I had CFMX6.1 in
C:\CFusionMX\wwwroot, then I installed CFMX7 on D: and uninstalled CFMX6.1.

However, DW still likes to try to put sites in C:\CFusionMX\wwwroot and it's
kind of annoying.

Is there any setting in DW where I can change the default directory that new
sites are created in to D:\CFusionMX7\wwwroot instead of C:\CFusionMX\wwwroot?

Thanks for any advice.

You can create a site anywhere you want, no?

Of course.

What I am talking about is how to change DW's default setting in the Site
Definition Wizard, Part 3, where it asks "Where on your computer do you want to
store your files?"

At present, this input field in the wizard defaults to
C:\CFusionMX\wwwroot\SiteName and I have to change it to
D:\CFusionMX7\wwwroot\SiteName

I am just asking if there is somewhere in DW where I can set the wizard to set
the default root for new sites to D:\CFusionMX7\wwwroot instead of
C:\CFusionMX\wwwroot

If it's not possible to do this, that's fine. But it is kind of annoying and I
would like to change it.
