Default Mysterious Gap in NN/FF - 11-03-2005 , 11:21 PM

I'm getting a gap between the top banner and the orange background image.
It looks fine in IE.

Any thoughts?

TIA

Don't have time to pull the page into DW, but how about zeroing all your
cell padding, cell spacing and margins... at the moment they are blank -
you need to specifically write in 0 (the number) into the boxes in the
property inspector for all your tables. See if that works, if not post
back.

td img {vertical-align: bottom}

Images, Tables, and Mysterious Gaps

And consider to use JPEG instead of GIF, the files will be smaller.

Danke!

I need to bookmark that page...

About the image size I just inherited this site. I mention to the original
designer (still on the project)
that the images were way too big.
Basically his response was who cares about the 50% who use dial up...
I don't agree with him AT ALL! The original page this came from was over
160K!

O well.

Thanks again.
