Default My FTP function was damaged by un-natural shut down - 02-21-2005 , 06:34 PM

After a 4 hr. upload of Adobe 6, Dreamweaver MX froze, and I was forced to
manually shut the computer off. I think this damaged the cache! When I turned
the Computer on and started Dreamweaver, all my site definitions were gone! I
had to rebuild the entire local cache manually! I still can't get my FTP to
upload files or connect! I been pulling my hair out all weekend. I posted
several descriptions of various symptoms, but have been unable to solve
anything! HELP!

4 hour upload of Adobe 6?

Losing site definitions is something that happens from time to time. Get
this utility and keep a backup of them -

What happens when you try to connect?

Thanks, that'll help in the future, I've still got the present to deal with.

What are the details of your FTP problem?

And what do you mean by a 4 hour upload of Adobe 6?
