anybody knows of a way to convert a word document into manageable html? The ms word 'save as web page' creates horribly cluttered html, and pasting the word content in a plain text editor then in dreamveaver looses all the indents alignement, even some of the dates in a list are lost (the document is a resume with lists and dates)... Is there a systematic method that will do the job without re-building the entire layout from scratch? -- seb ( --- @webtrans1.com) http://www.webtrans1.com high-end web design |

It's the best way because it eliminates all of the office-specific XML stuff in the HTML. It's also lots easier (sometimes) to reformat/fix the document in Word, and then do the copy and paste. I did make good experiences with the "Save as HMTL" function in Open |
