moving photos

Hi. I've been trying to figure out how to move photos around in dreamweaver MX.
So far I can only import them ln a linear fashion. (the same goes for type) I
need to be able to move both of these around freely. I read some where about
using layers. How is this done? And is it the only way to accomplish this?

That is how html works - grid like. I'm not really sure what you are
asking? do you mean have them in a vertical or horizontal fashion within a
scroller? Then Pauls' post will help.

Unless you understand how layers (divs) work, you will end up with all sorts
of other problems. Maybe post back with exactly what you want to achieve.
