mouse over effect on both text and graphic

Hello Again!
On my site; www.1GoodReason.Com I have a nice effect on the bottom in
the portfolio section. When you mouse over either the image or the text
you get the a: mouse over css effect. This was done by wrapping both
the text and image in a div and wrapping the div in the a href= statement.

As wonderful as this is, it doesn't validate. Can't put a div in an a:
I don't want to switch to images only, too hard to edit and too slow to
load. Anyone else got a brilliant idea on how to make this validate?
