misssing gifs in explorer

I have a links page that looks fine to me and most others when viewed with
I.E.. However, my partner cannot view the gif files on this page. I checked his
I.E settings and they seem to be correct. I looked at the links page on his
machine (at a remote location from mine) and the first two gifs are missing and
in addition there is a line break in the second row of the table that does not
show up when I view it from my machine (at a different location).

I cannot figure out whether it is something particular to his bowser set-up or
if it's something that I can correct through Dreamweaver. I'm concerened that
others may have a problem as well. It is the first two hyperlinked images in
the table that are are missing when he views it. Also the text above the
heading has a bad line break.

If someone could take a look at it and let me know if it's correct I would
appreciate it.

as a guess- they have an AdBlocker or similar that is filtering out the html
for what it suspects are Advertisments.

try changing the name of the folder to something else, and the image name
for sure.

avoid using ad, banner, link, promo, similar words in file and folder names.
if they are still missing- it could also be the image dimensions. If they
are "standard" web banner ad sizes, they may also be filtered.
