Default Missing items - 09-05-2006 , 02:01 PM

We've been previewing a major overhaul of our website for a few weeks. From
6,800 visitors, one reported, "the top part of your page is blank where I think
your navigational tools are suppose to be. In otherwords. There is a line and
underneath it "welcome ... There is nothing above it."

He's using IE on Windows XP Professional machine. Can anyone tell me what is
causing his difficulty?

Hmmm... IE6 XP Pro with SP2 I see a logo, some cowboys and a row of black links with white text.

He/she probably has ad blocking software (Iike Norton) that doesn't like the
files and directory being named "banner." Try changing themto something
"un-ad-like" and innocuous and see if that helps.

If I disable JavaScript in Firefox 1.5 your navigation is
not displayed. Possibly this is the reason why your visitor
has not seen your navigation.

Apart from that there are 405 errors in your page!

Sorry, I should have written 163 errors, the rest are just
warnings.

MD hit the nail on the header... directory name is banner and the images
have a part of their name as banner... ad blocking software will strip
out anything containing the word banner, ad and a lot heap more... change
the directory name as well as the file names and I bet he will be able to
view the page correctly.
