Default Missing CSS and pics - 11-20-2004 , 07:24 AM

Having a issue with DWMX2004 / XPsp2.

While designing pages using templates, the pages look allright when previewing
them in DW. When uploading/opening them all i get is plain text. All the CSS
and pictures are missing. All files were uploaded.

When checking the source, I noticed that all links start with an extra "/"
/pictures/mypic.jpg
for example.
I checked some of my earlier work and there all the pictures are linked like:
pictures/mypic.jpg.

Am I missing something here?
TIA, Shiro

hi yea,
when you choosing Insert image, have a look at the properties panel, where
it says "RElative to"
choose Document instead of Site Root.

hope that helps for the images, as for the css I havent got a clue without
seening the page.

This is what you should get when using ROOT RELATIVE links. When you open
with the browser, th ebrowser regards the "/" as meaning the root of the
hard drive, not the root of the site.

Read these -
