menu fault!

When i try to access the 'modify' pulldown menu i keep getting this strange
message on screen. i have uninstalled and reinstalled the program a few times,
but still the same? anyone else had this problem or know what it is?

Dave,

Did you make sure to re-install Dreamweaver with the extensions turned off
in extension manager?

Do you have the latest Updater for Dreamweaver (7.0.1)?

Have you tried installing Dreamweaver in SafeMode?
