Default Margins & Padding CSS - just not quite - 08-08-2004 , 08:48 AM

Hi folks,

View page here: http://www.dylanthomastheatre.org.uk/designs/index.asp

You can see my prob with the central section jutting out to the right
slightly. According to measurements, it should fit perfectly, but something
makes it stick out a few pixels too far. This is in IE (6).

The same thing happens in Moz, but the 'jutting' is much bigger. If I can
sort out IE, then can I go about creating a different style for Moz to use
which IE will ignore, or is that just older versions?

All help appreciated. Thankx in advance,

Piers

You need to redo the math a bit. It looks like, on a quick look that
your content DIV needs to be 613px wide given the dimensions, margins
and padding of all elements involved. Get rid of width: 100% in the
places you've used it and IE6 will likely fall into place, too.
