Default managing sites dialogues very slow to load - 12-01-2003 , 09:15 AM

When I choose "manage sites" from the "site" menu and then choose "edit" or
"new" it takes a full minute for the dialogue to open. Any ideas what could
be causing this big delay?

DW MX 2004 on Windows XP Pro.

Bob:

Are your local sites on a network shared drive?

Norton Antivirus 2002. Yes, it's doing realtime protection.

I found it Murray!
I started shutting down processes until I found it.

I'm running a utility called Tweak-XP pro. It has an internet ad-blocker and
if I disable that the problem is solved.
Sometimes it's like looking for a needle in a hay-stack :-(
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Do I need to report this to the Tweak-XP people or to Macromedia?

Bob:

I'm not sure that reporting it will do any good, frankly. Just posting it
here is perhaps the best step.
