Make text flash or sparkle -

I have FrontPage and I do not have Flash or Swish. Can I make stationary text flash or sparkle? What is the minimum I need and if free, where can I find it? Thanks!! |

You'd set the type, make 2 or 3 copies, apply a star pattern to the
copies - a search for 'specular highlights' or a troll through Linda
Rathberger's site, http://playingwithfire.com/ might yield something -
apply appropriate timings, and export. It's been a while since I've done
an animated .gif, so I can't give a more detailed description, though
ISTR that FW's helpfile had a pretty good description.
If you don't have FW, I'd guess that there are a number of free or cheap
graphics editors out there which will create animated .gifs.

Your best bet may be an animated .gif, which you can create in FireWorks. Ok, how do I make text sparkle/flash in DW4?  I have that too and am in the middle of a free 200-page online tutorial I recommend for reeeeal beginners like me.
