I have FrontPage and I do not have Flash or Swish. Can I make stationary
text flash or sparkle? What is the minimum I need and if free, where can I
find it? Thanks!!

LOL - this is the Dreamweaver forum, not the FrontPage forum.

Your best bet may be an animated .gif, which you can create in FireWorks.
You'd set the type, make 2 or 3 copies, apply a star pattern to the
copies - a search for 'specular highlights' or a troll through Linda
Rathberger's site, http://playingwithfire.com/ might yield something -
apply appropriate timings, and export. It's been a while since I've done
an animated .gif, so I can't give a more detailed description, though
ISTR that FW's helpfile had a pretty good description.

If you don't have FW, I'd guess that there are a number of free or cheap
graphics editors out there which will create animated .gifs.

Rathgeber != Rathberger. With a name like that, I am sure you are not the
first.

Ok, how do I make text sparkle/flash in DW4?

I have that too and am in the middle of a free 200-page online tutorial I
recommend for reeeeal beginners like me. It's at:
http://www.cit.cornell.edu/training/...reamweaver.pdf

You know my last question was how do I align=justify! That went over well,
too. Think you should use all my posts to start a "How Not to.." thread! lol

Thanks, Murray.

Heh - your best bet would be to make an animated GIF image and use that for
your text.
