Mac asp<->MySQL

I have a web hosting space where I have a site.
They say I can use asp and MySQL there.
But is it possible to do that from DW on a Mac.
I could only see PHP with MySQL.

How do I make the right choice and preferences
in DW for that?

I should note that since you're on a Mac, that all of this is handled on the
server side. But DW will handle all the details. If your host will create
DSNs for you, that's great. But I'd recommend a DSNless connection.
