Lost and confused

Sorr for the overly dramatic title. I'm having some issues which probably
stems form not being totally grouned in basic operations.

1-I believe my site is set up properly. Yet when I do a put [to remote] I
always get a message saying the file is newer on the server . How can that be.
2-While I was surving with that I ran into an issue that maybe connected - I
inserted some javascript into a flash menu that resides in my index page. Now
I get a message from the server: Forbidden
Looking into the java console I see this:
"Security Error: Content at http://www.icanctv.com/ may not load or link to
file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/Stuart/My%20Documents/icanctv/text.css."

So whatever I'm doing wrong it's looking for something on my local machine
instead of the computer.. The text.css does reside on the remote machine. As
well the call that is generating an error is a "showhidelayer" coming from a
geturl call in the flash button ...and it's calling to a hidden layer.

Anyone mind giving me some words of guidance or advice here .

You need to upload external CSS(text.css) file to your server, and you
need to do this for some images, too.
file:///C|/Documents and Settings/Stuart/My
Documents/icanctv/images/butbg.gif"
file:///C|/Documents and Settings/Stuart/My
Documents/icanctv/images/spacer.gif"

But first you need to load the page into DW and "insert" the images and
css using the browse for file widget. Then save.
