Extension, no, but www.lipsum.com is a good generator.

did you try searching the macromedia.com/exchange/dreamweaver site? I
put lorem ipsum into the search field and narrowed it to dreamweaver and
found this (one of two) that will probably work:

http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm?view=sn120#view=sn106&viewName=Exchange% 20Search%20Details&loc=en_us&authorid=32295659&pag e=0&scrollPos=0&subcatid=0&snid=sn106&itemnumber=1 &extid=800287&catid=0

hth,
donna

Why are you writing in the past tense, Kenny? It still exists. It still
works with DW8. It's still on my site, and on the Macromedia Exchange.
And it's still free.

"(for Dreamweaver 4, MX & MX 2004)"

He's probably taking this literally because it does not explicitly mention
that it's compatible with DW8.

David,

I have that extension and it doesn't show up for me in DW8 :\
I haven't really looked into why as yet though.....

Thanks David,
I have used your for a long time, and have been to the macromedia website to
check for updates on different occasions, I have tried to install version
1.2.1 a few times over the last few days but cannot get it to work, ( no
submit button). I have redownloaded it with no joy either.

http://www.peeksee.com/lorum/david.html <<<< see screen capture, click
play at the bottom of the page, I am using dw8, and have no problems with
other extensions.
I am logged onto my pc as Administrator, I am the only user of my PC.

i am not moaning, lol just that it is a very useful extension.

regards

Kenny

I'm not sure why that's happening. For some reason, Dreamweaver 8
doesn't create the submit button when you access if from the Insert menu.

However, if you access it from the Common category of the Insert bar, it
works perfectly - submit button and all.

I was aware of the problem with the insert menu method, but was up to my
eyeballs writing my latest tome. I've got a bit more spare time now, so
I'll see if any light can be shed on the issue. In the meantime, I
suggest using the Insert bar method.

I've been using it for months now, and it's been thoroughly tested on
DW8 by several others. The only problem is the one that Kenny is
experiencing - the failure of the submit button to appear when accessed
from the Insert menu. It works fine from the Insert bar.
