Is there a way to lock images and disable a users ability to download/save images used? We are using .asp etc... http://www.grand-benedicts.com/ and would like to keep our images from being used on other sites. Please let me know if you have any ideas. |

But in Firefox, if you click Tools->Page Info, then click the Media tab, you'll see a list of all images. Click the image names and the image is shown in the bottom half of the dialog box. Find the one you want and click Save As. It's so simple to get around schemes like this that it really isn't worth the effort. Yes, it will stop the newbie who knows next to nothing from saving an image and using it on their desktop, but the guy who wants to steal an image and sell 10,000 copies of it won't even be slowed down. |
