Default Localhost ona mac- Part II - 11-04-2004 , 01:04 PM

OK I got the localhost running!!

However when I go to define a DSN I get an error message "404- file not
found" saying that a testing server is not running on this machine and
it's looking for a file called mmhttpdb.asp.

My local folder it maps to is
http://Macintosh HD/users/billray/sites/petpix_data

Help!!

When you pick the type of testing server, are you picking Apache/PHP? ASP
won't run on a Mac server of any sort without some 3rd party commercial
software.

How are you calling this file in your browser?

If you're actually using this:
http://Macintosh HD/users/billray/sites/petpix_data
that won't work.

Have you tried http://localhost/~billray/petpix_data?

Why are trying to define a DSN?

OK that got me a little farther but now I'm firing off a 405 error. <sigh>
