Local/Remote Server Issues -

I have a phpbb forum and I've never had any problems with it until now.
If I remember correctly, all my forum files where in a local root folder
called "forum". I was trying to upload some new images on the remote server
(the remote server folder was also called "forum") and it kept telling me that
it didn't exsist on the local server, but I could clearly see it was there. I
think the original remote server foler became another folder called "forum" in
my local root folder. I'm not sure how or why, but I think that's what
happened. When I try making a new "forum" folder on the remote server I still
get the same message.
I gave up on the folder and just uploaded the files on my host directory (when
I searched for where the local root folder was on the remot server that's where
it told me to go) and it uploads, but the page doesn't show online.
I've tried deleting the site and re-adding a new one over and over, but it
still gives me the same message. I'm not sure why it's acting this way and I'm
not sure what to do. All I do know is that I have a few people who want to get
back on my forum and I'm starting to get p-oed. Please, PLEASE help! I'm
desperate. Thanks in advance and I hope someone out there can help me. |
