im sorry i got a little impatient.

okay...it is a huge image jpeg and what i want to do is have a link
to enter the site which says enter site (maybe even have move around
some.)

I put insert hyperlink and i was basically simply trying to move it
inside the image...and it wont??
it stays outside the image it wont go on top of it or anything....

is there something im missing in this process...is it not as simple
as drag the link and place it where you want...which is in the
middle of my image??

You can go through the help docs (F1) in DW itself.
Here are a few tutorial sites that may be of interest:

from the MM site:
http://www.macromedia.com/support/dreamweaver/getting_started.html

How to design a flexible table layout:
http://www.dwfaq.com/Tutorials/Tables/flexible_tables.asp

Basic CSS info: <-------------------this will explain about the
underline on your link (look for text-decoration)
http://www.mako4css.com

I also have a few basic tutorials at the resources link in my sig.

and you can use the very last link in my sig to search old forum posts for
specific questions. Most things have been asked here many times in the past

As for books:
Dreamweaver MX2004 The Missing Manual by David McFarland

Book by the same author for DWMX

try again. The email address you got is totally bogus. The first part is
right, but the mdp should be spelled out:

md-at-maddogproductions-dot-com
