Default Linking templates to files in another directory - 07-21-2004 , 07:34 AM

Hi group :

I am working on a bilingual website, and to keep things manageable, I
decided to put all the french language html files within a separate
folder. As DW creates my templates in the same folder, I figured it
wold be a simple matter to link the french templates to the relative
files within the separate french html folder - but so far I haven't
been able to work out how this can be done. I even tried creating a
separate Template folder but that didn't work either.

Is there a way of linking certain templates to files within a separate
folder? I'm using DW MX.

Thanks in advance for any clues or advice...

When you say within a separate folder, do you mean a separate ROOT folder?
No.

Do you mean a separate folder below the root of the site? Sure.

Wow, quick reply, thanks :=)) These files would be contained in a
folder within the html directory on my server. I'd like the foreign
templates in my Templates folder to link to these files. The answer is
probably staring at me in the face, I'm going mad learning
templates... O to be a guru one day ...
