Default Linking Problems - 07-16-2003 , 08:16 PM

Hello again,

I have a linking problem. I cannot seem to link menu items successfully to the appropriate .htm files. The items are gifs and I make sure I use the point-to-file tool to point to the appropriate page. I can load the page that contains the menu on the browser, but I can't get the menu gifs to link. I have tried to rename the target docs and had the gif point to the re-named file and it still failed. Can anybody help? Please!

Thanks,

Hussam

Murray,

Here is the code for the menu item that won't link. When I do Modify > Open Linked Page in DMX, the .htm page opens successfully, but when I test the link in the browser it gives me a blank page with "Done" on the bottom left corner of the IE window.

<tr>
<TD><A HREF="collocation.htm" ONMOUSEOUT="MM_swapImgRestore()"
ONMOUSEOVER="MM_swapImage('Image27','','buttons/collocation-lt.gif',1)">
<IMG NAME="Image27" BORDER="0" SRC="buttons/collocation-dk.gif"
WIDTH="171" HEIGHT="26"></A>
</TD>
</tr>

Sam:

I guess you'll have to upload these pages somewhere and post a URI for them.
I don't quite understand the symptoms you are describing.
