Default link to a .exe or .swf from Dreamwaver - 07-01-2004 , 08:06 PM

I want to make a link to a .exe or .swf so that opens an intro made in
flash. But if I put the .swf in the "link option" with a target _black, it
opens a new explorer window. I DON'T WANT THAT! because it's a fullscreen
presentation.
And if I put the .exe file in there, it opens a window asking "where to open
or to save the file". And I don't want that either!

Could be better to do so from Flash? to create and give the action there?

Am I clear? I hope so. thanxs!!!

If you want the swf to open in the same window, just link to it as you would
any page but don't select any target and it will open in the same page. If
you link to an exe then it will always ask to download it.....do you have
any idea what could happen if our systems allowed any ole .exe file to run
with just a click?!?
