Link is defaulting to IP address

I used a CSS page to jump start the website but all of the links are defaulting
to my websites ip address. I put the link in the properties menu but it
ultimately adds my ip address then the page I want to go to. It's picking this
up by default but I cant find where to change it.

example: 209.189.236.00/www.brit.com

Should be: www.brit.com as the link

Any help is appreciated.

Are you trying to make a link to an External website?

then make sure to type the http:// protocol into the Link box.
Type the full url including http://

http://www.brit.com

If it's a link to something Inside Your site- best to use the browse to File
icon on the Property Inspector, and set the pulldown in that dialog box so
that it makes the link "Relative to Document"
