Is it possible to rename the library folder and Dreamweaver still be able to access it and treat it as the library folder. I7d like to change the name and get it to the end of the tree in the site panel. I'm using Dreamweaver MX Thanks, Chris (Hunt) |

Chris: The standard mantra is that you cannot. However, you can try it and see. Library items are not as particular about their location as Templates are. -- Murray --- ICQ 71997575 Team Macromedia Volunteer for Dreamweaver (If you *MUST* email me, don't LAUGH when you do so!) ================== http://www.dreamweavermx-templates.com - Template Triage! http://www.projectseven.com/go - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.dwfaq.com - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.macromedia.com/support/search/ - Macromedia (MM) Technotes ================== |

Seems like it's a no-no! Dreamweaver allowed me to chance the name of the library folder and updated all the links, but then the library items stopped acting as library items - they wouldn't update. I think Dreamweaver shouldn't allow the library folder to be renamed if it isn't going to allow you to use it as a library folder after the rename. It's a pain that it can't be renamed. Looks like I'm stuck with it where it is. Chris "Murray *TMM*" <forums (AT) HAHAgreat-web-sights (DOT) com> wrote in message news:cn52pd$l5m$1 (AT) forums (DOT) macromedia.com...
