Layers with screen resolution.

Hi all, I'm trying to position a group of stacked layers that should appear
when you rollover associated thumbnails. I do this fine, but depending on
what resolution the screen is set to determines where these layers appear in
the browser. Is there a way of making this appear relative to a table cell.
Help or guidace would be much appreciated.
