Curious about this...Going thru tutorial at http://projectseven.com/tutorials/navigation/snapmenus/index.htm. Using their supplied files (in 4.01) I could not get access to the layers - the dialog stayed greyed out (Yes I'm in Table Standard View mode). Tried everything - no luck. Pull the same files up in MX, switch to standard mode and voila - all's well. What's up with that? |

Chances are it's because of the antiquity of the Dreamweaver 4 DOM and its inability to recognize absolutely positioned elements unless the CSS is declared on the tag itself (rather than in a style sheet). However, I don't recall that being an issue. You may want to try our new Auto Show-Hide which allows for working with any ID'd item - not just absolutely positioned DIVs http://www.projectseven.com/extensions/info/autoshowhide/index.htm -- Al Sparber - PVII http://www.projectseven.com DW Extensions - Menu Systems - Tutorials - Templates --------------------------------------------------------- Webdev Newsgroup: news://forums.projectseven.com/pviiwebdev/ CSS Newsgroup: news://forums.projectseven.com/css/ RSS Feeds: http://www.projectseven.com/xml/ |
