Ok... Promise... Last time I will ask! I understand what split view is and how
it is supposed to work. Thank you... When looking at splitview, the actual
code for the page appears in the top half of the window, yes? The page
graphics, text, etc... appear in the lower half of the window, yes? DMX
version 6.0 and 6.1 allowed you to switch how your split view looks! You could
have the code on the bottom and the page itself on the top of the split view. I
can't figure out if the DMX '04 version lets you do that anymore. That is all
that I'm asking, nothing else. So, please, since no one has answered the
question, can someone attempt it now? Again, any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you very much...

Well, you didn't ask that specific question to begin with, now did you?

To answer it, no, I don't think you can flop the design vs. code view's
positions. That said, I had no idea you could do it in previous versions,
either, so maybe you can.

ack. Apologies. You DID ask that. We weren't reading it very well. Sorry
about that.

I just answered his question in his other post. It can be done in both versions 6 and 7 of DW. In version 7.0.1, it is right in front of you to the point that it is easily missed

In version 6.1 the control was in the "View" menu ("Design view on top"
could be checked or unchecked).

I found these instructions for MX 2004 by searching Google groups:

I'm as sober as a Duck here and I can't see it.

Maybe that's the problem

It's the icon farthest on the right. It says "View Options" when you
mouse over it and it's actually a menu. You have to be in Split View to
get the "Design View on Top" menu toggle item to be enabled.

HTH,
Randy
