JavaScript Error in Dreamweaver MX on XP

I've been running Dreamweaver MX on Windows XP with no problems for a few
months (had to reinstall XP recently, prior to that I have been running MX
since its release in 2002) and yesterday I just started getting a JavaScript
error when I cut and paste content.

Then every once in awhile, it Unexpectly Terminates Dreamweaver completely


I can't remember adding anything new. and I went and installed the updater
6.1, still problems, so I removed and reinstalled MX. Still problems.

Here is the error message verbatim when I cut and paste text or images in
Dreamweaver MX.

While executing DWMenu_Edit_Past command in menus.xml, the following
JavaScript error(s) occurred:
At line 77 of the file "C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
MX\Configuration\Shared\MM\Scripts\events.js": exception throw in native
function
