Internal Data Error files won't upload

I have been getting a internal data error when i try to upload my files FTP. I
have read that some people have had the same problems, but no real solutons
were given. Some say it has to do with the host server, others the firewall.
I am using a mac with MX 2004. Any help or new information would be
appreciated.
