Just had a look ... is there any way to flick through the slides? Life's too
short to listen to the stuporous commentary....

Still none the wiser about what he was proposing because I gave up after the
second slide.

Regards,

Pete.

It swaps text content with a tiny Flash movie that enables you to show
anything in any font. The result is a page that is about 10-12K heavier
than it would be (although that extra weight is cache-able), perfectly
readable, perfectly spiderable, and perfectly accessable.

In short it's slicker than well a JiffyLube's floor....

there was a similar thing at alistapart.com which used php and
javascript to generate and replace text graphics on the fly (so the
document structure remains intact and no css hacks.

This is similar in overall concept, but quite different in execution. And
it requires no server scripting.
