Default Installing Apache for Dreamweaver - 07-23-2003 , 02:26 PM

I want to install Apache so I can work with PHP and MySQL with Dreamweaver on a Windows XP Pro platform. I followed the guide at
http://www.dreamweavermxsupport.com/index.php?type=article&id=67&block=1&pid=39, but couldn't get it to work. I then solicited some advice from an Apache newsgroup, and they told me I should install Apache 2.0, not 1.3. The DMX Apache guide says, "In this tutorial, we're going to focus on Apache 1.3.27 although the principles apply to all Apache 1.3.X Versions. We`ll look at Apache 2 in a different guide."

Is the 2.0 guide currently online? If so, can someone tell me where?

Also, if I install Apache as a service, rather than a console, then it will run all the time, right? How many resources will that use up? I don't need a lot more stuff running on my system, unless Apache uses very little resources.

Thanks.

they come with: Apache, PHP, MySQL installer...and other component..with
that its so simple for installation...
I was looking for the link where I download the package..but I couldnt find
