Installation bug on StudioMx -

I'm re-installing Macromedia StudioMx on a new drive
called c: after expanding my desktop system. (I intend to convert the old
drive to a Linux partition.) It has Windows 2000, Service Pack 2. In
running the Macromedia installation program, I get the following crazy
error:
"An installation support file
c:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallSheild\engine\6\Intel 32\ikernel.exe
could not be installed.
There is not enough space on the disk."
Looks as if something isn't mapped properly, or perhaps Macromedia has an
upgrade for Windows 2000, SP2.
This is the only one of about a dozen large programs I've had difficulty
installing.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? I see Macromedia charges
$799 for phone support after the first 90 days, and I've had this product
for 7 or 8 months. |
