Is your AV running? If so try to disable it while installing.

Please see if the following steps resolve the problem. Please post back
your results.

* Download the stand-alone Extension Manager installer from the Adobe
website (http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/) and install it before
installing Dreamweaver. After installing the Extension Manager, then try to
install Dreamweaver.

* If the solution above doesn't solve the problem, try installing
Dreamweaver again. When the installer gets stuck, do Command+Option+Escape
and select "Install Flash Player 8" in the "Force Quit Applications" dialog,
and click the Force Quit button. See if the remainder of the Dreamweaver
installer is able to execute.

* If the solutions above don't solve the problem, then try the following
steps. This solution may result in a successful Dreamweaver installation,
but an unsuccessful Extension Manager installation.

1. Run the stand-alone Extension Manager installer.

2. Run the Dreamweaver Installer

3. When the Dreamweaver installer stops at 190 files remaining, perform the
following steps:

a. Minimize the Dreamweaver installation window.

b. From the Finder, browse to the Applications folder and copy the
entire Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 folder to the Desktop.

c. After copying the Dreamweaver 8 folder to the Desktop, cancel the
Dreamweaver installation.

d. Copy the Dreamweaver 8 folder back into the Applications folder.

e. In the Applications folder, open the Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 folder
and launch the Dreamweaver 8 executable.

* If the solutions above don't solve the problem, then go through
Troubleshooting Dreamweaver on Macintosh OS X
(http://www.adobe.com/go/16471). In particular, focus on installing while in
a Safe Boot and repairing permissions.
