Default initializeUI and aftersave errors - 11-03-2003 , 02:18 PM

I have started getting errors for "aftersave" when saving a file, and "initializeUI" when importing fireworks HTML. Does anyone know what to do about that?

I am getting the very same errors. There is another thread going about this
error that I have posted to but I have not seen any solution. I there a way
that we can elevate the priority of this error? I know its not the same as
having a crashed system but it is very inconvenient when you have problems
saving files.

I'm getting the same error since yesterday. I have also tried to install
Dreamweaver 7.01 updater but it didn't fix the error. The other strange thing
I've noticed yesterday is that when I first opened DW, I was prompted to
activate the software again, which I did, but I still can'f figure out what is
going on, as I had no crashes or other issues watsoever...

I used one of my support incidents and got a resolution to this problem.

What it came down to is I had to refresh the user config files. Here are the
steps:

- go to drive:\documents and settings\username\application
data\macromedia\dreamweaver mx 2004\
- there's supposed to be a 'configuration' folder there, rename it to
'configuration-bak'
- restart Dreamweaver.

Make sure that you can see hidden directories in your explorer.

Just wanted to say thank you for the tip re: configuration-bak. I had an "InitializeUI is not defined" error. This solved it!!
