Default InDesign and DreamWeaver Integration - 09-27-2008 , 07:32 PM

I've made some tables with InDesign and now I want to transfer tem to
dreamweaver. I am not sure how to go about doing that. "cut and paste" from
InDesign into DeamWeaver doesn't work. Also when make the corners of my table
round with InDesign the table moves to the right and outside teh frame and no
matter what I do I can't fit the rounded frame right over the border of the
table.

First InDesign and Dreamweaver are two different beasts. Both have elements of
what the other does, but DW does for the web what InDesign does for print. I
would recommend using an intermediary application such as Photoshop or
Illustrator in this case. While the designs should be made in those the tables
really should be made in InDesign or Dreamweaver. Or at the very least the
design for the table should be made in Photoshop or Illustrator and then
exported to both InDesign and Dreamweaver for their individual uses. PS and
Illustrator are the design applications and are the core of the other
applications with regards to the tools.

I haven't picked up InDesign in awhile, but you *may* be able to export the
table as an image as a last resort. However, you may want to post this in the
InDesign forum for further info.
