I'm using the DWMX7.01 trial version to try to decide to switch from HomeSite (I'm sick of being able to look at only one document at a time in HomeSite--this product really needs to be updated to enable viewing docs side by side) anyway, I'm looking for duplicating getting the same functionality in code editing. And what I am finding is : Indent with spaces does not work Yes, I have Edit > Preferences > Code Format set to 'Indent with 2 spaces.' But pressing tab, ctrl-shift->, or ctrl-alt-], as well as auto indent all result in a tab character being inserted, never 2 spaces. This would be a show stopper for my evaluation as our coding standards demand always indenting with spaces and never with tabs. Ctrl-shift-tab doesn't outdent. It works in HomeSite. Even trying to be clever and using the HomeSite keyboard shortcuts does not result in ctrl-shift-tab in doing anything other than inserting another tab (and definitely not two spaces). I've tried mining the Knowledge Base but have not found anything like this issue. Thanks! |

When you're coding by hand or > involved with server-side code, you'll still have to hit the spacebar twice. Bogus! I know it's not so simple (given that |
