".inc" files

I need to be able to to see the design view of an ".inc" file. I have done a search and other people seem to have same problem but doesnt seem to be a solution.

I can see the code view no problem, but I want the design view, and dont want to have to change the file ext from .inc to .htm every time I want the design view.

I have to keep the .inc ext, We are using PHP and all the inc file, of which there are many, have .inc file names.

Is there any way I can get these file to show up designen view.

I had a look at this page: http://www.macromedia.com/support/dreamweaver/ts/documents/add_ext_mx.htm
but the ext is already listed in the all files.

Try Edit > Preferences > Invisible Elements and check the Server-Side Includes Show Contents of included File checkbox

Done all that, can still only see the code view for the inc files.

All thats in the inc is php and html, just dont know why it will not show me the design view
