Default Importing a site into Dreamweaver - 05-25-2004 , 11:58 AM

Hi,

When I import my website to Dreamweaver, all sorts of error codes start
appearing, the design is completely different, and it just isnt my website!!!
My JS files dont appear to be working and basically Im really confused, Im new
to Dreamweaver, and I usually do all my page in pure code, but I thought Id try
to use it, as it speeds up site design with the use of templates etc.

My comapny site that Im working on at the moment is:

http://www.jointlearning.co.uk

If anyone could give me a hint as to how I could import this site into
dreamweaver without losing any of my design etc, then I would be very grateful

Yours

Adam

In DW, define a site with 1) a local folder into which you want to place
these files, and 2) the login information for how to connect to your remote
site.

Then, connect to the site, and GET all the files.

Everything should work fine now.

FTP server, however I was still having all the problems I had before, none of
the alignments work, fonts style was different etc. Still confused!!!

I'm guessing that the code on the page needs alot of work, too....
