Unless you are using the font as a graphical element (i.e. converting the
font to paths in something like Fireworks and inserting the resulting
GIF/JPEG in Dreamweaver). In that case, install fonts using Control Panel
or its equivalent on the Mac. If you are using a lot of fonts, look at a
font manager like SuitCase, Font Agent, or the Font Thing (free).... so you
don't have to have all your fonts active at any given time.

You should really stick with the typeface sets that ship with DW. If you
use anything else the receiving computer will also have to have that
font in their system to see it.
If they dont have that font then your page will render with a default
typeface, which is maybe not what you want. The sets provided with DW
are pretty much standard and come with most computers.. |
