Importing an existing site

Hi. I am having a problem importing an existing site.

I created a site some time ago in dreamweaver MX on my PC.

I now have a mac Power Pc G5 with Dreamweaver 8.

When I import the site my links are all lost to my images and hyperlinks
between the site...

For example the new Dreamweaver 8 wants to see the following link

../images/weekly_pix/2006_pics/08_18_06/DSCN0010.jpg

But when I imported the site all my links are as follows

/main/phoenix/images/weekly_pix/2006_pics/08_18_06/DSCN0012.jpg

The above path is unrecognized and as a result i get a broken link

Can i somehow change the links sitewide to correct this problem or do I have
to change each and every link.....which is thousands.....manually?

as a guess- you've defined the new site's Local Site Folder to a different
folder level. Set it to the same as before- the folder that directly
contains the site's "homepage"
