Default Images missing on some pages - 08-20-2008 , 01:09 PM

I have a crossword site and am using Crossword Forge to make them. When you
make a crossword puzzle it allows you to export the crossword for the web. It
makes a folder containing several files for you to place in your site folder.
One of them being a .jpg for the background image. I have left the background
images in there separate crossword folders. I did not move them to my actual
images folder.
Everything has been published, yet the background images aren't showing up. I
know it's not a Crossword Forge issue because they worked fine before.
I went to my Site Definition and deleted my default images folder (left it
blank). Thinking maybe they're not being recognized because the crossword
images are in separate folders. No, that didn't work either.

I'm really lost here. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. It would
be even better if you've used Crossword Forge before.

I hope I've explained myself well.

Thanks

If you want to check out the page the link is below... One crossword that was
made with Crossword Forge is "the Outer Vibe"

The only reference to the background image is in the noscript section so it
would only display if the visitor has javascript disabled. This seems to be by
design, as the Flash version of the crossword would obscure any background,
right?

The background image is inserted through Crossword Forge. The image is I guess
"inside" the player.
Like I said, all of them used to work. I started making major changes to the
site a few days ago. Adding category pages and all that other good stuff. But I
didn't change the Crossword pages. (except for one, experimenting)

Well, I figured this one out as well. It was quite stupid actually. Like I said
in my other "self-answered post" I'm going to briefly describe the solution for
anyone who might need the help.

When Crossword Forge exports your file for the web it makes a folder with that
crosswords documents and it's background image.
You told Crossword Forge what image to use for the background. Even though it
makes a new jpg for your background, it still has to reference the original.
Keep those originals in your local root folder. don't move them. Crossword
Forge will have a hissy if it can't find the original image. Yeah, even though
it creates a new image.
